Cry Baby Cry
I agree with Damien Cox that it's tough to see Ryan Smyth leave the Edmonton Oilers.

But I won't shed a tear for Alberta. Seems to me that a province with a 7 billion dollar budget surplus could have figured a way to keep their favorite son.

Too bad about Alberta, but the real story is the Iron Man competition in the southern province of Carolina - otherwise known for hoopsters. Of course training for the event - showing up to practice- is the keystone of success in the event. Our ringer from north of the border still thinks he can slide by on past glory! ( imagines he's still sixteen and can lace up and steam down the pond). We'll see how the Mother Puckers fare with such bench attitude.
